The Difference between PVA1799 and PVA1788

ANHUI LIWEI CHEMICAL CO.,LIMITED

PVA 1799, also known as sizing resin, is a white or yellowish powder or a floc solid. It is soluble in hot water at 90-95 ° C and is almost insoluble in cold water. At room temperature, the gel will freeze and will become thinner at high temperatures to restore fluidity.

Polyvinyl alcohol 1799 is more resistant to solvents such as benzenes, esters, ketones, ethers than PVA 1788. It gradually changes color when heated to above 100 °C, and discolors rapidly when it is above 150 °C, and decomposes when it is above 200 °C. The property of discoloration upon heating of polyvinyl alcohol can be suppressed by 0.5% to 3% of boric acid.

We are a factory-ANHUI LIWEI CHEMICAL CO.,LIMITED specializing in the production of polyvinyl alcohol series products. We have a wide range of products and we believe that we can meet your needs. We sincerely look forward to your call or inquiry.
