Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM)
Overview
ANHUI LIWEI's vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) is a colorless liquid. It is a key
component in the production of various emulsion polymers, including polyvinyl
acetate (PVA), and is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of paints,
adhesives, printing inks, coatings, and textiles. It is also used in the production
of ethylene vinyl acetate (E-VAM), an elastomeric copolymer with a wide range of
important applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why purchase Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM)?
VAM is a key raw material in the production of
polyvinyl acetate
(PVAc),
vinyl acetate ethylene
(VAE) emulsions, and
polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) (a precursor to PVB film). VAM is also used in the production of
ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH)
resin and ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). Its primary end-uses include paints and
coatings, adhesives, building
construction, paper coatings, textile finishing, films, and other industrial and consumer
applications.
