LIWEI HD1500 is a raw material for building and construction industry, such as ready-mixed dry mortars. It is used as an organic binder in the formulation of:

• Cementitious waterproofing slurries (rigid, one-component)

• Tile grouts (CG1/CG2, ISO 13007)

• Tile grouts (CG1/CG2, ISO 13007) • Decorative finishes (e.g. stucco (Veneziano))

[Guidelines for Storage, Handling and Powder Processing]

Store LIWEI HD1500 redispersible polymer powder in a cool, dry place in original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C and process within six months after the date of delivery. When storing LIWEI HD1500 products avoid higher stacking of the goods to minimize pressure on the product and avoid storing in contact with moisture or heat, or in containments open for an extended period, as this may result in blocking of the powder. If the product is stored for longer than six months after the date of delivery, users are advised to evaluate properties required for the intended use.

LIWEI redispersible polymer powders can be blended in all commercial mixers with other dry additives to produce finished products in powder form. Since LIWEI redispersible polymer powders exhibit thermoplastic behaviour, mixing times should be as short as possible, and significant temperature increases caused by strong shear forces should be avoided. All hydraulically and nonhydraulically curing dry mixtures with LIWEI redispersible polymer powder can be easily mixed with water before application.

Standard packaging: 25 kg paper sacks with polyethylene liners. Other types of packaging, such as Big Bags or delivery in silo wagons, are available on request.
