Polyvinyl Alcohol PVA 092-35 & PVA 2092 Applications
PVA 2092 by Anhui Liwei is a light stable, hygroscopic, fully hydrolyzed, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) grade. Soluble in strong/weak acids and alkalis. Exhibits chemical & solvent resistance, resistance against permeation of gases such as oxygen, nitrogen & carbon-dioxide, less sensitivity to humidity than other water-soluble resins and non-toxicity. Offers excellent film formation, emulsifying power and adhesion to the substrate. It's color turns yellowish gradually when heated above 100°C, turns dark rapidly above 160 °C. PVA2092 is recommended in textile industry for warp sizing and resin finishing, paper industry for surface sizing and pigment coating, production of PVAc emulsion as protective colloid, suspension polymerization of PVC as a dispersion agent and binder for ceramics, magnet, foundry cores & pigments.
