PVOH®9913 is a fully hydrolyzed medium molecular weight polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). Using our exclusive batch process which has advantages over other manufacturing methods,allows more efficient control over the degree of hydrolysis and particle size of the product.
PVOH®9913 achieves the best performance in textile, paper, molding, and adhesive industry.
The Hot Method is the most efficient if dispersion / wetting of the powder is an issue. The
PVOH®9913 is either added slowly to water at more 90°C or to water at room temperature and
then heated to more 90°C, with good agitation. The PVOH®9913 will disperse and on cooling
will go smoothly into solution without lump formation.
1.PVOH®9913 should be stored away from wet areas. Ingress of moisture should be avoided to maintain product quality. 2.As supplied, PVOH®9913 should remain fit for use for 12 months from the date of delivery. Beyond that date, the material may still be fit for use, but we would advise that it is good practice to test the material. or more after delivery should be tested before use.
