Elotex® redispersible polymer powders serve as organic binders primarily for use with cement, gypsum, and hydrated lime. Elotex® free-flowing polymer powders are produced from spray-dried waterborne polymer dispersions, enabling us to offer a wide range of additives with diverse properties. Elotex® specialty powder additives utilize a variety of technologies, ranging from silane encapsulation to engineered formulation additives.
Elotex® redispersible polymer powders are key ingredients in enhancing key properties of modern dry-mix mortars, such as adhesion, cohesion, flexibility, and workability. Furthermore, Elotex® redispersible polymer powders help manufacturers formulate finished products with low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, thereby complying with stringent government regulations and internationally recognized environmental certifications and labels such as LEED, EMICODE® EC1 PLUS, and Blue Angel.
