PVA Water Soluble Film
Water-soluble film is a special type of protective film made from water-soluble polymer materials (PVA/PVOH) through a specific film-forming process; it is also known as PVA film. This film dissolves in water and degrades into harmless substances, making it an environmentally friendly and resource-saving new high-tech material.
Compared to ordinary protective films, this film has significant advantages in mechanical properties and hydrolysis resistance. It exhibits higher tensile strength, gas resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, and heat-sealing properties, all of which make it one of the highest-performing films currently available, particularly suitable for the packaging industry.
Features:
1. It dissolves in water and other aqueous solutions within a timeframe, ranging from 10 seconds to 20 minutes, depending on the temperature (4 to 80 degrees Celsius).
2. It does not chemically react with most materials incorporated into the film in solution, thus preserving the physical and chemical properties of the materials.
3. After dissolving, the water-soluble film is released into the environment with the water and biodegrades under sunlight and the action of specific bacteria, making it very environmentally friendly.
4. Its excellent leak-proof properties, flexibility, oil resistance, antistatic properties, and corrosion resistance make it an ideal packaging material.
Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) Film for Packaging
PVA film is primarily used in the packaging industry. This material is environmentally safe, completely biodegradable when dissolved in water or waste, and possesses excellent tensile strength and flexibility. PVA film can be used as a variety of packaging materials, such as for agricultural chemicals, dyes, cement, food additives, fish bait, seeds, dirty clothes, toilet blocks, powdered and liquid detergents, etc.
PVA film packaging helps consumers accurately measure products and safely handle/store toxic/hazardous products.
