[Introduction]

VINNAPAS 8620 E (including 8620e) is a representative flexible redispersible polymer powder (RDP) for dry mix mortars, specifically designed for long-term outdoor exposure or areas susceptible to slight deformation. Based on a vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer formulation with enhanced flexibility, it effectively resists mortar cracking caused by environmental changes, making it ideal for elastic exterior wall plaster, tile grout, stone bonding mortar and other applications requiring deformation adaptability.

VINNAPAS® 8620 E Core Substrate: A terpolymer composed of vinyl acetate, ethylene, and vinyl chloride. This substrate formulation gives it advantages in extending the application window and resisting harsh environments.

Key Characteristics: Contains fine mineral fillers to prevent clumping. No organic solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming aids are added during production, making it a low-VOC product. It has a moderate glass transition temperature. Its key advantage is significantly extending the mortar's open time, facilitating tile placement during application, and greatly improving bond strength after water immersion and freeze-thaw cycles, while having minimal impact on the mortar's original rheological properties and not increasing application difficulty.

Typical Applications: More focused on the formulation of high-quality flexible tile adhesives, especially suitable for adhesives used in laying large-format tiles. These types of scenarios not only require high initial bonding strength of the adhesive, but also need to cope with subsequent environmental factors such as humidity and temperature changes. This product can ensure that the tiles adhere firmly for a long time and reduce the risk of falling off.

[Storage]

During storage, protect the product from contact with moisture. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 30 °C, especially in combination with pressure, humidity or exposure to sunlight, may result in blocking. Carefully seal any open containers and store them under suitable conditions. We recommend storing the product in a warehouse that provides cool and dry conditions. Do not store the product for more than six months, starting from the date at which it was received, unless the Certificate of Analysis contains a different date, which would take precedence. If the product is stored longer than recommended, it may still be used but users are advised to verify the properties required for the intended use.

E Series

VINNAPAS® 7220E and 8620E both belong to the E-series redispersible polymer (RDP) powders. Both are suitable for dry-mix mortars and emphasize optimized bond performance and flexibility, but differ in their copolymer substrates and specific application scenarios.
