VINNAPAS 5005 N
ANHUI LIWEI CHEMICAL CO.,LIMITED
[Introduction]
VINNAPAS 5005 N is a dispersible polymer powder for dry mix mortars, specifically developed for cost-efficient cementitious tile adhesives, wall and joint fillers. Based on a very hard vinyl acetate-ethylene (VA/E) copolymer formulation, it belongs to the VINNAPAS N product class, featuring neutral rheology that doesn't affect mortar flow properties. This product delivers excellent adhesion strength at low polymer dosages (up to 2% in tile adhesives), making it highly cost-effective for construction applications requiring balanced performance without compromising quality.
[Properties]
• VINNAPAS 5005 N is a hard VA/E copolymer powder that is dispersible in water, containing a fine mineral filler as antiblocking agent.
• Mortars modified with this product show improved adhesion, flexural strength, deformability and abrasion resistance, while key rheological properties (leveling, thixotropy and water retention) remain essentially unaffected.
• As an N-class product, it has neutral effect on mortar rheology, allowing easy integration into various formulations without adjusting flow modifiers.
• It provides excellent adhesion strength at low polymer dosages (recommended up to 2% in tile adhesives), making it highly cost-efficient.
• Produced without addition of organic solvents, plasticizers or film-forming agents, ensuring environmental friendliness.

[Storage]
During storage, protect the product from contact with moisture. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 30 °C, especially in combination with pressure, humidity or exposure to sunlight, may result in blocking. Carefully seal any open containers and store them under suitable conditions. We recommend storing the product in a warehouse that provides cool and dry conditions. Do not store the product for more than six months, starting from the date at which it was received, unless the Certificate of Analysis contains a different date, which would take precedence. If the product is stored longer than recommended, it may still be used but users are advised to verify the properties required for the intended use.
N Series
This series comprises versatile, basic RDPs, mostly vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymers. They have minimal impact on the rheological properties of mortar, providing basic adhesion and flexibility. With high formulation flexibility, they are commonly used as basic modifiers for dry-mix mortars.
Typical products include VINNAPAS® 4023 N, suitable for tile adhesives, plastering mortars, and self-leveling materials. It improves the bond strength, flexural strength, and abrasion resistance of mortars without affecting their leveling and water retention. Another example is VINNAPAS® 5010 N,VINNAPAS® 5044N,VINNAPAS 5005 N,VINNAPAS 5043 N,VINNAPAS® 4712N often used as a general-purpose powder in tile adhesives and putties, featuring low ash content and compatibility with various dry-mix mortar formulations.
VINNAPAS® 4712 N also belongs to this series, specifically optimized for adhesion to wood and vitrified tiles. It exhibits excellent water resistance, meets relevant international tile adhesive standards, and is suitable for formulating multi-purpose thin-layer tile mortars.
